Please be aware that this isn't all the (fan translated) information about the titles that exist in this book (mainly because I couldn't get a clear view of all of the text). This is most of the information.

A Journey Through The Planning Section
This is where we'll explore the planning process of "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" from the early planning documents and materials that are stored at Sunrise.
Yoroiden Samurai Troopers began its broadcast in April 1988.
The earliest planning document that remains as documentation was written in 1986, two years before the broadcast.
As was the case with many children's programs of the time, it was toy sales that could make something happen, or make something happen more quickly. (Since, you know, toy sales = money = more money for the show.)
Where it all begain -
Title 1 -
6 / 1986 (June 1986)
Japanese text : 群星伝ライザーバック
Romaji : Gunseiden Raiza bakku (Riser back)
English translated title : Legendary Cluster of Stars Riserback or The Legend of the Cluster of Stars, Riser Back
(There's always some amount of wiggle room when it comes to translating stuff like titles.)
Heroes and great heroes gather under the destiny of 108 stars in the hyperdimensional fortress Riserbach (ryouzanpaku or a place of assemblage for the bold and ambitious), located in the other dimensional world of Randok.
In the great space, righteous warriors with the energy of Shine Star and Light Star clash with El Ric's army controlled by the evil Dark (Bawa? Bower? ) !
There were designs for Riserback / Riser Back species (races).
These were design proposals that were prepared. In total there were nine categories.
"Human race," "animal race," "insect race," "reptile race," "dinosaur race," "cyborg," "fish race," "monster race," and "god race".
Title 2 -
Japanese text : 「(仮)サムライトルーパー」
Romaji / English title : "(Tentative) Samurai Troopers"
July 1987
This was the toy proposal written by Takara (a toy company, and the company responsible for the action figures).
There was a shift from making and offering (somewhat more expensive) large-size products, such as robot toys, to relatively inexpensive mid-size products and action figures. The analysis was based on a sample of the "Choujinki Metalder" (Super Human Machine Metalder) from "Fighter Seiya," which was popular at the time.
(Note from the translator : Choujinki Metalder is the sixth and shortest entry of the Metal Hero Series franchise, running from March 16, 1987, to January 17, 1988, for only 39 episodes.
The 'Metal Hero Series' is a series (of books, films, etc.) consisting of several series that is part of a larger series. If you're not familiar with this, think of the western long-running series Power Rangers and you get the general idea. You know, Mighty Morphin, Wild Force, Dino Fury, Lost In Space, etc. etc. etc.)

Title 5 -
"Samurai Troopers"
11 / 1987 (November 1987)
(This is talked about in the book 'Memorials 2' on pages 180 and 181. The proposed title for it was 'The Superhero Warrior : Aramu Shada', though I've gotten into the habit of writing it was 'Aram Shada'. Same difference.)
Description :
Kaiser World is a desert planet with 104 city-states. Here is a tournament called "Battle Cry" where people come to fight using their martial arts. The warriors who participate in it are called 'Samurai Troopers'. These fighters wearing armor called "YOROI GEAR," (otherwise translated as 'armor gear' or, for us Western / non-Japanese folks 'armor'). "Battle Cry" is practiced as the national sport of each country. It is said that when the eight YOROI GEARs that govern all things that live / exist in the forest come together, the devastated Kaiser World will become a lush, green world.
The hero is Ajamaru. He has the YOROI GEAR called "Rekka" (intense fire). It was passed down in his family from generation to generation. With hiss two companions, together they travel in search of the five remaining warriors.
(Character Setting)
YOROI GEAR Rekka, who presides over "fire".
Character name - Ajamaru
He is a vivacious boy with a strong sense of justice.
YOROI GEAR Kazan, who presides over "wind".
"The armor of evil forest" that governs "the woods / the forest / thicket".
Character name - Kukurosu / Kuklos
This person is Rebellious / Crooked Ex-Mercenary.
「需」を司る 「YOROI-GEAR・爆雷」
YOROI GEAR Bakurai (depth charge was the only translation that came up for this) who presides over "demand" (I guess??? I honestly don't know how correct this is so... anyone out there with a better understanding of Japanese want to try translating this?)
Character name - Boreasu
This person is a blacksmith with a penchant (a strong or habitual liking for or tendency to do something) for outlandish inventions.
YOROI GEAR Korin, who presides over "light".
Character name - Toronpa
The most daring man on the planet.
YOROI GEAR Tenku, who presides over "air".
Character name - Noza
This persin is a nihilistic (rejecting all religious and moral principles in the belief that life is meaningless) loner.
Sunrise prepared a new proposal that seemed to be a combination of the above two projects.
It was described as an "original and exciting battle action anime" featuring life-size heroes in battle action. The name "Yoroi Gear" (armors) also appeared here.
The eight pieces of armor and their owners are named as follows / companions.
Their justice, friendship, and love are the major axis of the story.
The project was further boiled down and eight YOROI GEARs were added to the enemy side.
The "Shogun" cloaked by the leader of evil, the 4 Tennou (Heavenly Kings) "Toratoru", "Bakurai", "Yorin", and "Masamune", and the three drifters "Hoshi", "Ryusei", and "Yusei" were also set up.
(the text after this is where the page curves at, making it unable for me, or anyone, to be able to clearly see.)
And if you're curious about the story of 'Aram Shada' (text only, no pictures for now), you can read about it here.
New Program Project
The Superhero Warrior
Aramu Shada
The following was the proposal for the show called "Aramu Shada, The Superhero Warrior".
This was the original proposed idea that eventually became Yoroiden Samurai Troopers.
(Note from the translator : Sorry if the naming is a bit inconsistent. I'm really not sure what the best way to write it is, but just know that it's all, more or less, the same. Aram Shada. Aramu Shada. Aramu Shadar.)
Theme
The theme of this story is to give free ideas to children who are bound by uniformity.
The protagonists in this story use "ARMOR" (armor) to defeat people, in a variety of ways, without being bound by formality. That is to say, they seek "justice, friendship, and love. This act will be deeply engraved in the hearts of children. Furthermore, the kind of friendship that the protagonists have with ARMOR will cause a culture shock in today's disposable world. It is a powerful reminder to children of the importance of mind and material things.
Samurai Troopers
Samurai Troopers are fighters who participate in Battle Cry, a martial art that takes place within and between cities.
'Battlecry has become the national sport of the entire Kaiserwerd. Each city holds its own Battlecry martial arts tournament, where Samurai Troopers compete for the honor of winning.
To become a Samurai Troopers, some learn from different schools, while others hone their skills through freelance training.
ARMOR
Samurai Troopers wear armor called "ARMOR" during "battlecry" (battle cry / battle shout / battle yell) tournaments. They fight with body actions and special weapons during the "Battle Cry" tournament. One of the main features of the game is that the armor is made by a number of master craftsmen.
Each of Aram Shada's five ARMORs is a piece of armor that has been passed down from generation to generation in the family. In particular, the five ARMORs worn by the Aram Shada's have special abilities and fighting power not found in other ARMORs, as well as a mystical will that controls the truth of this world.
Pre-Story Setting
On the edge of a galaxy far away from our solar system, there is a planet very similar to Earth, Kaiserworld. Thirty percent of the planet is made up of continents, and seventy percent is made up of oceans. Most of the continents have turned into deserts, and there are fourteen city-states crowded into a small amount of green space.
The civilization of the planet Kaiserworld is about the same as that of medieval Europe or Japan's Warring States Period.
On the planet Kaiserworld, a super martial art called "Battlecry" has been flourishing since ancient times, and its warriors, the Samurai Troopers, train day and night to become the greatest champions.
However, on the seemingly peaceful planet Kaiserworld, a terrible fate awaits.
In the ancient times of the Kaiser World, there was a mysterious object that came from outer space.
We don't know if it is alien waste or a mecha from an advanced space civilization, but it returned to life after hundreds of millions of years and began to rapidly desert the planet. It seems that these mysterious objects from outer space have a demonic intelligence that can destroy humanity.
Later, a hermit who learned of this mystery wrote a document to pass on to future generations. The hermit who learned of this mystery later wrote a document to pass on to future generations, stating that an organic substance contained in the cosmic dust had the effect of weakening this demonic power.
Later, perhaps by the will of the universe to maintain order, a meteorite containing this organic material fell on this planet.
This halved the desertification, but the magic began to do its next work. It was to amplify the human instinct to fight each other in order to destroy the human race. This is what made Battle Cry so popular.
Hundreds of years later, a master stomach maker, who had obtained an ancient document from a hermit, used the meteorite's special metal to create five "armors": "Rekka", "Fuuma", "Tenku", "Kaiba" and "Korin".
To counter this, the demonic forces have gathered and organized the powerful Samurai Troopers, intent on destroying the planet. This is the Dark Legion of Evil, and they will fight against the five ARMORs, the Aram Shadars.
Episode 1 "I can't lose!"
It's the same old freak show every time. Aja (Ajmal) fights wearing a fake "armor" that his high-minded father bought him, but he is beaten to a pulp. His rival, Darnan, also makes fun of him.
"I can't win with this stupid gear (gear = armor)."
He gets angry and smashes it against a rock, destroying it.
Then a mysterious woman (Nasutei) appears and tells Aja that her father's secret Rekka is invincible, and urges her to steal it.
Aja, who has a weakness for beautiful women, falls for the idea, and Nasutei helps her to roll the dice on her father, who is a hard man. Aja manages to steal Rekka, and Nasutei further tricks her into participating in the official Battle Cry qualifiers.
An elated Aja witnesses Durnan secretly training for battle in the forest. Durnan is wearing a famous weapon, the "Wind Demon". He seems to have taken it from somewhere. "He is a worthy opponent for Rekka."
Darnan is furious when Aja witnesses this, and the two begin their first battle with the famous weapon.
However, unaware of the true power of the two weapons, the two fight as if they were free clays.
The Rekka burst into flames. The Wind Demon invited the wind. And the forest began to burn.
In this city with a small amount of greenery, starting a forest fire is a serious crime. Firefighters rushed to the scene and all hell broke loose.
At the same time, a mysterious group of people attacked Aja's father in an attempt to steal the Rekka.
The crisis was averted because of the wildfire commotion and the fact that Aja had taken it with her. Nasutei was thrilled to see "Rekka" and "Fuuma" in the world.
"Tenku, Kaiba, and Korin."
He let out a meaningful smile.
Soon, the day of the preliminary round came. On the back of a large eagle flying towards the venue was the Samurai Troopers' sizer. He was wearing a Tenku. Then there was Aswan, a beautiful young man from the Samurai Troopers, riding a panther through the desert. He is wearing "Korin". And then there is Kaja, a Samurai Troopers member, who is riding a dolphin across the sea. He is wearing a "hippocampus".
Nasutei's one goal is over. The next objective made her blood boil.
"They're all a bunch of bamboos. I'm looking forward to squeezing them, fu fu fu..." (fu fu fu = evil laughter)
And now, moving right along with more information.
"The Mid-Term Design for the Samurai Troopers Project"
The 1987 project features characters that were hand-drawn by animator Yorihisa Uchida.
The armor and character design was done by Hideo Okamoto.
Nasutei is an unidentified beautiful woman who manipulates five people with her beauty and maternal love, and the mysterious warrior "YOROI GEAR Kaosu" takes their place.
(Um... okay... to... try and make a bit more sense out of this from the information given, I think it's basically saying Nasutei was a mysterious woman who manipulated the would-be 5 heroes. That's when a mysterious warrior named Kaosu wearing a Yoroi Gear appears. Or, maybe 'Yoroi Gear Kaosu' is meant as a replacement for the regular 'Yoroi Gear's the heroes wear?)
The prototype for the later character arrangement is completely destroyed here.
The title for this new stage of the project is... a bit of a mouthful when trying to translate it.
Original title :「若伝ゴーューV」
Romaji title : "Waka Kiden Gouyou V"
This translates to
若: Young
騎: Horseman, most often used in the word 騎士 (kishi), "knight"
伝: Legend
ゴーユー : It's probably written in katakana for an English-sounding second half of the title.
The word is read "gouyuu", and there are couple different words that's read that way:
豪遊: Living merrily, in an upbeat way
豪勇: Bravery, heroic prowess
So there are a couple different ways this could be translated to English.
Legend of the Brave Young Horsemen V
Legend of the 5 Brave Young Horsemen
The 5 Brave, Legendary Young Riders
etc.
You get the idea. (For the sake of ease I'll be writing it as 'Waka Kiden Gouyou V'.)

(Note from the translator : Solely because they like / prefer to use wording like 'film' or 'works', I'm going to take the easy route and replace that with 'anime'. Especially since when we Westerners think of 'film' we think of a movie in a movie theater. Or a 'work', when it comes to creative stuff, something more like books, paintings on canvas, or a sculpture. 'Animated show' is far from the first thing that'll come to our minds.)
The anime's story is billed as a "new historical period drama-style anime set in the modern era, slashing through a turbulent world. The same main staff and agency, Tokyu Agency, were also mentioned.
The film is set in places that symbolize modern Japan, such as skyscrapers and Tokyo Tower, as well as old castles such as Osaka Castle, Nagoya Castle, and Kumamoto Castle, and ancient battlefields such as Goryokaku ("five-point fort", is a star fort in the Japanese city of Hakodate on the island of Hokkaido. It was built by the Tokugawa shogunate and became the last place that brought an end to Japan's feudal system) and Sekigahara (is a town located in Fuwa District, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It's popular because way back in October 21, 1600, during a mere six hours of fighting, there was an estimated 30,000 casualties because of this battle).
