This is 100% about the Choroiden Chamurai Troopers.  What are they? When they did first appear? What merchandise features them? etc. etc. etc. I'm not saying I'm going to be able to include every last piece of information possible, but, this should give you a good idea of what it's all about. First of all, one of the best places I've found any sort of explaination for the Choroiden Chamurai Troopers themselves and their merchandise comes from this book. It's called 大事典 but translates to either 'encyclopedia' or 'large encyclopedia' (depending on what translation site is used). Published May 10, 1989. And since quite a few bits of merchandise were released surrounding Yoroiden Samurai Troopers being broadcast on TV, trying to pin down exact dates and say that 'this one piece of merchandise was the first ever' is next to impossible for me. Though something I like is the fact that right on the very back of this book are the Chibi Troopers!  |

These two pages are the earliest (and only) full description of the Choroiden Chamurai Troopers.   There is a version, in color, that is found in this book.
However, the 2 pages in Daijiten give a short summary for the Troopers and the Mashou.   |

 きこーていれっか&ひゃくえんおう 強い相手と闘うとき専用の鎧なんだけど、情けないことに、とても重いんで他の4人に手伝ってもらわないと着れない⋯ひゃくえんおうの鎧は、ひゃくえんがアラゴ塾の連中にいじめられないようにリョォが作ってくれたもの。 Kikotei Rekka & Hyakuen-ou Hyakuen-ou's armor is specially designed for fighting against strong opponents, but it is so heavy that he needs help from the other four members to wear it... Hyakuen-ou's armor was made by Ryou to prevent Hyakuen from being bullied by the guys from Arago's cram school. |

Although Kaosu (or Kaochu as his name is spelled here) and Kayura are not included in Daijten, for the 30th anniversary book, they were included.  Kaoshu's Private School (Private Cram School) The warriors who want to become Samurai Troopers won't lose against their rivals, Arago's Private School! Also, the Kikoute Rekka armor should be worn during important battles. However, because it's very heavy, four other people need to help Kaosu In order to be Samurai Troopers, the boys have to go through tough training at the Suddenly Appearing Wandering Monk's private school. |

(principal of the ___ school that misguides rude people? Pick your own title.) He is a pathetic old man who tries to bully the students of the rival Cram School of Kaoshu because his (Arago's) own students are not doing well. However, his true face has not been revealed to anyone. |

Maybe one of you who is WAY more familiar with Japanese can provide a way more accurate translation.) option 1 - He's a scary bully. option 2 - He's someone who goes around bullying others, but is actually afraid of stuff. (despite his rough, tough, bullying behavior) Hhe has only one weakness: the dark! / dark places! His special move is "Keihaku Chohigiri". |
